Dr. Gulraiz Bajwa

VP HEALTH TECHNOLOGY

Gulraiz is a community organizer, changemaker, and champion for radical thinking and creativity in healthcare. He has sat on various committees and academic boards, worked on high level government initiatives, and has worked with startups in Asia, Europe, and North America including advising on digital technology for the NHS. He loves design and wants to see better UI/UX in healthcare technologies. Above all however, passion for the medical profession for Gulraiz comes from his passion for working with people. He likes to mobilize communities to make change. He is working on tackling the Coronavirus in Canada, has promoted nationwide health initiatives in Bahrain under national media coverage, and has spearheaded mental health campaigns in Nepal in collaboration with hundreds of doctors receiving widespread regional press coverage. His mission is two fold: i) Developing cool, usable health technologies and ii) Promoting health equality. The next stops on this ongoing journey include moving into the healthcare delivery space and the VC space to share what he has learnt.
